What should you expect to get when you participate in Ken’s Lotto Pool?
Here is what I actually sent out to the participants ahead of the $372 mil Mega Millions drawing on December 17, 2019. Yes, I realize this is a few years old, but it gets the point across, I hope. In 2022, we usually have 150-200 people in the smaller pools, collecting $1,500-2,500 in contributions. List of Participants
This lists everyone who participated in the lottery pool, how much you contributed, the share of the jackpot that you would win (which is also the percentage that you contributed to the total pool), and what that means in terms of dollars based on the headline lottery jackpot (in this case, $372 mil).
Pictures of the Tickets
I also send pictures of the lottery tickets that we purchased, before the drawing. I just lay them out on my table and take a picture with my phone. I’ll send the high-resolution pictures in the email, so you can see every number clearly.
